Again, he speaks the truth when we blames both Democrats and Republicans for all of these disasters. The corrupt politicians are protecting their buddies in the Insurance companies, Drug companies, Military Contractors, Arms Dealers and other merchants of death and destruction. Michael Moore wants to keep this violent cartel in place and then "hopes" that the right folks will magically appear (get elected) to run it better. Ron Paul is the realist who knows you have to smash this racket, shut them down, send them home and let "We the People" (aka The Free Market) take care of everything through non-violence, cooperation, free exchange and commerce.

Tourtured Foxx

Recently I was teaching a British-born friend of mine about Sanford & Son and it's enduring legacy. While he had never heard of the show he interestingly clued me into the possible origins of the sitcom with the British show Steptoe and Son. The Wikipedia entry for Sanford & Son confirmed this fact and it led me down memory lane and eventually to this YouTube video of Redd Foxx' final interview. From the article it seems like Redd's spirit and his will to live were already crushed by the IRS's heavy hand years before his heart-attack killed him.

These sad stories reinforce my belief that the economy and society in general would be better off if we abolish the IRS, the income tax and any sort of taxes on productivity and profits. Just imagine if everything you earned you kept, free and clear, there would be thousands of companies moving their factories or headquarters to the USA to take advantage of this sort of freedom. We wouldn't have to destroy an entire generation with this reckless deficit spending, nor the spirits of creative geniuses such as Redd Foxx in the process.

It sucks to be an Obama supporter (again)

Once again Rachel Maddow is on-point. She's got to be one of the most honest progressive in the media today. I'm glad anti-war Democrats are not giving up their cause of ending these illegal imperial wars. Recently the South Florida Veterans for Peace created "Arlington South Beach" during the Memorial Day weekend and with over 4000 deaths in Iraq being represented by a tombstone it was quite a site to see.

Again, don't believe the Obama hype, the guy worships Abe Lincoln, the first Republican tyrant, and he's definitely following in his footsteps.

Obama Crime Family hates your liberty!

Obama officially shot down the idea of legalizing / decriminalizing Marijuana during hist town-hall meeting. Plus the feds raided a pot dispensary in violation of their earlier promise to back off and let the states handle this issue.

Good News from Obama!

Holy shit! I gotta post the good news for a change because ragging on Obama for being a Bush-cloned-suck-wad gets tiring.

The administration of the holy emperor is going show mercy on medical marijuana dispensaries who abide by their state laws.

But wait! Obama's thugs are saying that they will leave folks alone who follow their state laws in reference to a particular matter that the US Constitution does not explicitly address? Huh?

I think I heard of this concept before....

It's called the 10th Amendment of the Constitution and it says:

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Should we be praising these rat-bastards for (semi-)following the constitution? It reminds me of a Chris Rock joke where he mentions folks who brag "I take care of my kids!" Chris Rock then replies "You're 'sposed to take care of your kids, what do you want a cookie?"

I guess we can give Obama a cookie... a medicinal weed cookie as a token of our appreciation for leaving peaceful plant-consumers alone! Still, lets enjoy this great news and hope for more to follow.

One of the most disgusting articles I've ever read!

Not because of the way it was written, the author nor the opinions expressed in it. (The author is actually one of my favorite bloggers!) But this article by William Grigg offers some chilling facts about the horrible and tyrannical judicial system that lords over us in the United States. I'm sick to my stomach after reading this article.

Abe Lincoln the Tyrant

In response to Robert who wrote a comment on my last post, I had to reprint my response:

I appreciate your comment Robert. You gotta take a second look into the war between the states to really get my point. Never do I endorse nor support slavery in any way. But simple and plain... Abe Lincoln did not wage the war to free the slaves nor did Able care for their well-being or equal rights (he wanted to deport them back to Africa!) The war was about taxes (money). There is ample evidence that supports this. If you believe that the "Civil War" was about slavery than you must also believe that the Iraq war was about WMDs.

My point is that a so-called Catholic high school is putting a war-monger up on a pedestal as a model for proper conduct. It makes no sense because Jesus Christ was obviously anti-war (and anti-state for that matter).

During the 1860's there were many abolitionists (those who were working towards abolishing slavery) who were also anti-war, especially Lincoln's war of aggression. Read up on Lysander Spooner as a great example.

The brutality and viciousness of that war, then using the slaves as a scapegoat towards the end is what lead to the creation of the Klu Klux Klan by disgruntled and defeated Democrats. (For every action you get an equal and opposite reaction.)

Why do you think Dr. King's non-violent civil rights movement was so successful? The 1960's did more for equal rights than Lincoln's so called emancipation ever could. Lincoln used war, terror, homicide and humiliation to achieve his goals. Dr. King used love, peace, brotherhood, community-bonds and civilized discourse to help free those who were oppressed. (Peaceful action eventually reaps a peaceful reaction, like Obama being elected, makes sense?) The motivations and the results from both campaigns are like night and day.

We will eventually stop worshiping President Lincoln when we all realize the truth about this Republican, homicidal tyrant who disregarded the constitution and human life as well.

An institution that supposedly promotes the message of the prince of peace... he who disarmed all Christians and promoted non-violence and non-retaliation to his very death at the hands of the state. Here Jesus is juxtaposed with America's favorite war-mongering and murderous tyrant! Lincoln basically used the state to retaliate against and murder thousands of tax rebels in the south. It's great to see that he is used here as a role model for proper "Christian" conduct.

Ron Paul shits on Obama and McCain

Today Ron Paul is calling on all Americans to reject the two-party cartel that has turned our presidential elections into a pissing match between two evils. No matter how you look at it you're still voting for evil. In a nutshell this is Ron Paul's reasoning behind rejecting Obama and Mcain... I agree wholeheartedly with him:

We cannot expect withdrawal of troops from Iraq or the Middle East with either of the two major candidates. Expect continued involvement in Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Georgia. Neither hints of a non-interventionist foreign policy. Do not expect to hear the rejection of the policy of supporting the American world empire. There will be no emphasis in protecting privacy and civil liberties and the constant surveillance of the American people. Do not expect any serious attempt to curtail the rapidly expanding national debt. And certainly, there will be no hint of addressing the Federal Reserve System and its cozy relationship with big banks and international corporations and the politicians.

There is only one way that these issues can get the attention they deserve: the silent majority must become the vocal majority.

Even before Ron Paul announced that he was going to make this joint press conference with the major 3rd party candidates I already was leaning towards supporting the Green Party candidate Cynthia McKinney. Check out some of the other candidates as well if you care about truly abolishing the evil American empire that provokes more war and homicide worldwide.

Just say NO to "State Worshiping"

The question is, why do Christians keep the American flag and the Pledge of Allegiance in their churches, masses and Sunday schools? If I ever decide to send my children to a government school you can bet that I'll ask them to refrain from pledging any allegiance to anything but God (until they're old enough to make their own educated choice, of course). This great article in the Christians Science Monitor sums it up:

I agree wholeheartedly with this article and I guarantee that Jesus Christ would NOT have been pledging allegiance nor recognizing the "trivial" power that governments wield. Jesus said his kingdom was not of this world, that means the Bush Crime Family and it's followers have no ounce of credibility in trying to portray themselves as being "Christians". Way before there was a Ron Paul Revolution, Thomas Jefferson staged the Revolution of 1800 when the Jeffersonian Democrats took over all the levels of government to fight the corrupt power in D.C..
