Just another "interest group"?

(Click on the Image to Enlarge it)

This would make a great T-Shirt or flyer. I might print it and pass it out to a few folks.

Nuff said...

This reminds me of the time when Galileo was put under house arrest and his books were banned by radical right-wing lunatics who feared science and progress. When will humanity learn? I hope we can use stem cell research to find real cures, with or without embryos.

Words from the wise...

Just the thought pisses me off:
We are spending $8 billion a month in Iraq. That's $2 billion each week, $267 million each day, or $11 million each hour. For what we spend in three weeks, we could make needed improvements in order to properly secure our public transportation systems. For what we spend in five days, we could put radiation detectors in all of our ports. And for two days in Iraq, we could screen all air cargo.

-Howard Dean

If you still support the war at this point, you're either a selfish-hateful-bastard or just misinformed. I hope the better parts of your conscience wake you up.

And if that's not enough, check out who is number 1 on this list and who is dead last! (Source: CIA)

Fiscally conservative my ass!!

Republicans say: Cowardice = Patriotism

After the plot by British citizens to blow up air planes with liquid explosives was foiled by UK and Pakistani law enforcement (not the military), the Bush Crime Family and coward-ass Republicans have been doing the "chicken little - the sky is falling" routine to try to scare the public into submission.

When Democrats and Libertarians are on the same page on this issue, the cries by the lunatic Republicans to run and hide from the underfunded amateurs (posing as Al Queda) sound more and more ridiculous.

With the best and brightest intelligence and law enforcement teams on the case, these terrorist groups can be brought to justice WITHOUT citizens having to loose an ounce of civil liberties or precious life. We can spare the F-16's and the tanks for a bigger threat than a group of dummies who shit in caves.

Chew on this...

From the kick-ass website These Liberties:
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currencies, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all prosperity until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

- Thomas Jefferson

Also:

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Already they have raised up a monied aristocracy that has set the government at defiance. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people to whom it properly belongs."

- Thomas Jefferson, 3rd President
of The United States of America

Good ol' Thomas Jefferson would have given the new movie "America: Freedom to Facism" two thumbs up. Maybe we can power the entire country from the energy created by our founding fathers spinning in their graves.

Bush creates budget "black hole" for Blackwater

Illegitimate wars breed this kind of corruption and waste:
Since June of 2004, the Bush administration has paid the Blackwater security firm at least $320 million for "diplomatic security" services worldwide, The Nation reports. More striking, the State Department -- who oversees the contract -- can't explain why they've paid the company $100 million more than they contracted for.

Yes, lets give 'em an extra $100 million, since Blackwater was billing it's profits into its expenses and performing other amazing accounting feats while the Bush Crime Family happily cuts the check.

You, me and every tax-payer takes it up the ass once again for the war profiteers!

Bush lost more than 7-fucking BILLION dollars!

One of my favorite Representatives in Congress, Louise Slaughter, responded to Lieberman's loss in the Senate primary (where he got his ass kicked by the people of Connecticut) last night. But this part of her response stuck out to me the most:
BLANK CHECK ON IRAQ: During the three years it [the Rubber-Stamp Congress] has been writing the checks for the Iraq War, Congress has never asked the Bush Administration for a real accounting of how it has spent this enormous sum of money. What we do know from press accounts and some internal investigations is that the Bush Administration has squandered billions of taxpayers' dollars on fraudulent contracts, waste, and dubious public relations projects. We also know that billions of dollars of Iraqi funds have totally disappeared. In the polite phrasing of the Government Accountability Office (GAO), for example, the Department of Defense has currently "lost visibility" on more than $7 billion in funds appropriated for the global war on terrorism. [Congressional Research Service, "The Cost of Iraq, Afghanistan and Enhanced Base Security Since 9/11," 10/7/05].

7 fucking Billion dollars!! With a capital "B"! I swear if any so-called fiscal conservatives are still supporting this president at this point they have no principles.

Congrats to Ned Lamont and all of the good candidates out there fighting this year to challenge the illegitimate rule of the Bush Crime Family.

The 9/11 Bush Crime Family Cover-Up

The internet has revolutionized the world of information to the point that government cover-ups are no longer as easy as JFK. Why do you think then that the Republicans in congress want to kill net neutrality?

The Traditional Media is finally catching up to the American Public's overwhelming suspicions about the 9/11 cover-up, check these out:

Was 9/11 an 'inside job'?

"We know that there are a lot of people now asking questions," said Janice Matthews, executive director of 911Truth.org, one of the most sophisticated Internet sites raising doubts about official explanations of the attacks. "We didn't have the Internet after Pearl Harbor, the Gulf of Tonkin or the Kennedy assassination. But we live in different times now."

9/11 Live: The NORAD Tapes

How did the U.S. Air Force respond on 9/11? Could it have shot down United 93, as conspiracy theorists claim? Obtaining 30 hours of never-before-released tapes from the control room of NORAD's Northeast headquarters, the author reconstructs the chaotic military history of that day—and the Pentagon's apparent attempt to cover it up.

9/11 Panel Suspected Deception by Pentagon

"I was shocked at how different the truth was from the way it was described," John Farmer, a former New Jersey attorney general who led the staff inquiry into events on Sept. 11, said in a recent interview. "The tapes told a radically different story from what had been told to us and the public for two years. . . . This is not spin. This is not true."

Read and spread the word. Remember "We the People" are more effective that the media at exposing the truth. The media always has to play "catch up" with the general public.
