1 Million ways to die... Bush Republicans are still cowards!

Our priorities are all wrong (from Wired News):

In fact, your appendix is more likely to kill you than al-Qaida is.

With that in mind, here's a handy ranking of the various dangers confronting America, based on the number of mortalities in each category throughout the 11-year period spanning 1995 through 2005 (extrapolated from best available data).

Also check out this great quote that derails George W. Bush's bullshit 9/11 speech this week:
"If the war on terror is really a "struggle for civilization" itself, as President Bush claimed last night, why do we have just 130,000 troops in Iraq?

"You would think that if America were really engaged in such an epic battle -- 'for all the marbles,' as one friend paraphrased it -- we would put up a bigger fight."

November 7th, don't vote our of fear, vote out of principal. Remove the fearful, dishonest, coward-ass war profiteers in the Republican party. Vote Democrat, Libertarian, Green, whatever... just make sure the Republicans loose their power!

Best War Ever...

Pretty good, short video on the Bush Crime Family's lies and bullshit. Look at Newt Gingrich labeling this illegal occupation as being part of World War III. I remember that Newt wanted the Bush-Republicans to start using the WWIII catch phrase to gain momentum for this November election. Fat chance buddy! The people are no longer buying this brand of lies, and neither is the rest of the world.

Mos Def arrested over Hip Hop

Pure Garbage!!
Mos Def was arrested Aug. 31 after MTV's Video Music Awards for an impromptu performance he gave where he did not have authorization to perform outside of Radio City Music Hall in New York.

Born Dante Smith, Mos Def was charged with disorderly conduct after performing his 2005 song "Katrina Clap" on a flatbed truck for a crowd outside of the event.

"Katrina Clap" is a freestyle rhyme criticizing the Bush administration's response to the Hurricane Katrina disaster.

According to reports, members of the rapper's entourage were arrested as well.

Mos Def was released the morning of Sept. 1.

The "Katrina Clap" song is still sitting in my iPod since I blogged about it a while ago. Fascism is trying to go mainstream and they'll silence anyone who'll speak out and call them on their bullshit. We need more emcees like the mighty Mos to make our progressive voices louder in Hip Hop!
