Its a global Police State

A couple of things come to mind when watching this video:

1) If a simple labor law pissed off French students this way, what will it take to incite Americans to protest the Bush Crime Family's illegal wars and violations of our civil liberties?

2) When the people finally do rise up in anger, no matter where you live the government's goons will always have bigger weapons than you.

3) Could Gandhi have succeeded with his non-violent protests in today's day with this type of aggressive police force?

What are your thoughts?

Since everyone and his crazy brother own guns here in America, I can't see a major riot ever occurring because of the fear that someone will get killed, not by the police or the govt, but by that crazy brother.

i haven't a clue what it is going to take- i think most folks just assume that it is politics as usual- not to mention that so far the judicial side of things has come up short in their dealings with the righties. no one so far has had to pay for anything and i think it discourages most folks. i was very disheartened when i learned rove and cheney are pretty much walking away from the plame thing because scooter is taking the fall. bush, cheney, rumsfeld- none will be touched.

as for ghandi- not only would he not have been able to get a permit to protest- no one would have listened anyway because they are all too busy.

Ghandi wouldn't have been able to fit his people into those "free-speech" zones.

What has this country come to?
