Bush LIED AGAIN: Pre-Katrina Video offers proof

WTF?
Bush declared four days after the storm, "I don't think anybody anticipated the breach of the levees" that gushed deadly flood waters into New Orleans. But the transcripts and video show there was plenty of talk about that possibility... and Bush was worried too.

An unseen pre-Katrina video conference between Bush, his staff (including Brownie and Chertoff), and local officials from Louisiana and Mississippi reveals some behind-the-scenes footage of the president being WARNED before the disaster. Wouldn't you know it, Bush lied to the local official during that meeting also, check it out:
"I want to assure the folks at the state level that we are fully prepared to not only help you during the storm, but we will move in whatever resources and assets we have at our disposal after the storm," the president said.

Surprisingly, according to transcripts of the video, Brownie comes across as actually giving a damn. Until the full videos are released and we've seen all the evidence, the jury is still out on Michael Brown. Maybe he was right about being treated as a scapegoat. Maybe we were too harsh on Brownie and we jumped to conclusions. (Maybe, but he was STILL unqualified to run FEMA!)

Check out the full story, read it fully and prepare to get angry all over again at the Bush Crime Family's lack of respect for human life.

Update: CrooksAndLiars.com has the video up.

Saw this on the news. He's such a liar. When I watched Brownie talking about his concerns I was so enraged at Bush for letting the media vilify him so horribly. Brownie did raise some of the right concerns, but it appears people weren't listening to him. We should have been placing more blame about the nonresponse on our President. Truly shameful.

I have the Bush katrina video on my site, feel free to download it. www.hillbillyreport.com
I Also have this opinion on the site.
Opinion
August 2005 George Bush was in Texas and he was there for a reason. The 09.11.01 anniversary was going to fall on a Sunday. That was like a gift from heaven and Bush was going to take full advantage of it. While Katrina was forming, in the Gulf of Mexico, the Bush team was planning every second of 09.11.05. They were making plans for cabinet members to be on the Sunday talk shows, like Meet the Press, with the same message to support the Bush agenda. I believe Michael Brown was out of this loop and wouldn’t have been able to interrupt the planning, even if he had tried and he may have tried. A hurricane or hurricane threat was not going to interfere with the Bush agenda or the 09.11.01 anniversary planning. When the dikes broke, in New Orleans, the Bush team refused to believe their 09.11.01 anniversary plans would have to trashed and refused to refocus on real event, hurricane Katrina, until it was too late.

Kat, I got caught up in the Brownie blaming myself but I still figured Bush's appointment of a Horse show dude to head FEMA as a dumb thing to do.

Jim, you're reasoning that the 9/11 anniversary took top priority fits perfectly with the Bush Crime Family's record of putting propaganda and lies above doing the people's work. 1.6 Billion spent on advertising alone for the failed policies. How much would have been spent for the 9/11 anniversary?
How much of that 1.6 Billion could have helped the Army Corp of Engineers strength the levee walls.
These bastards are committing crimes against humanity and against Americans.
Thanks for the link and the info!
