Tom Tancredo actually suggested publicly that a great idea for handling terrorist attacks is to bomb Mecca. BOMB MECCA??!?! Are you fucking kidding? To his defense he said it was a just a hypothetical idea in the event of a dirty bomb attack. But on the real... this jerk-nut has just suggested bombing THE most holiest of holy Islamic sites. That would be like kicking a bee hive naked!

A separate Israeli analysis of 154 foreign fighters compiled by a leading terrorism researcher found that despite the presence of some senior Al Qaeda operatives who are organizing the volunteers, ''the vast majority of [non-Iraqi] Arabs killed in Iraq have never taken part in any terrorist activity prior to their arrival in Iraq."

''Only a few were involved in past Islamic insurgencies in Afghanistan, Bosnia, or Chechnya," the Israeli study says. Out of the 154 fighters analyzed, only a handful had past associations with terrorism, ... In conclusion, our presence in Iraq is motivating average Muslims into taking up arms, imagine what SUGGESTING that we bomb Mecca will do to other Muslims sitting on the fence?
